Mary B. Moore has received four poetry awards in the past four years. Her prize-winning books are Amanda and the Man Soul (Emrys 2017, Dorianne Laux judge), Flicker (Broadkill River Press 2016, Carol Frost et al judges), and Eating the Light (Sable Books 2016, Allison Joseph judge). She also won Nelle’s inaugural Three Sisters Award (2019). She placed second in Nimrod’s Pablo Neruda contest, third in Asheville Poetry Review’s William Matthew’s Prize (2019) and she’s been a finalist twice at Terrain. Poems are forthcoming in Prairie Schooner and Wild Gods, an anthology, and appeared recently in Poetry, 32 Poems, Georgia and Gettysburg Reviews, Catamaran, Nelle, Birmingham Poetry Review, and Cider Press Review.
