Gerry Pelser is a photographer and writer living in the suburbs of Johannesburg, South Africa, with his wife, Andrea, (who he adores, and who is always right), two super-cool Hungarian Puli puppies, and a stuffed baby petite hippo named Felicity.

He is passionate about story-telling, teaching, and absolutely infatuated with photographic lighting. He spends way too much time on social media, and has an unhealthy obsession with beer, chicken wings, and cricket.

Defining Giulia by Gerry Pelser
"A beautiful written story that made for easy reading with its real, authentic and descriptive narrative.

A book that makes you think, self-reflect, laugh and cry. A wonderful continuation from Discovering Leigh. The journey and lives of the character" Read more of this review »
Defining Giulia by Gerry Pelser
"Defining Guilia is a courageous tale of becoming. A visually enchanting story of the gift of what life entails; heart-breaking challenges of discovering young identity, the steely realm of superficial materialism, depth (and shallowness) of character" Read more of this review »
Discovering Leigh. by Gerry Pelser
"Our heroine is shy and just not sure what she is looking for. So when she stumbles upon a shibari master willing to teach her, she discovers more than she expected.

This is first and foremost a romance, and perhaps a coming of age story, with BDSM as " Read more of this review »

It was an interesting story, to be sure, but at times it felt incohesive, and I had to re-read certain chapters to "get it". The premise is quite brilliant, but found the timelines (deliberately?) obtuse, and the character development a bit superfici ...more

A bit of a wet end to the series. Even though the ending was predictable, it felt a bit rushed. Uncle Stevie definitely did not do his best work here. It makes me sad. Let's see what "the outsider" has to offer...
