Luke P. Narlee is an American author from Maryland. He grew up in a small town in New Hampshire, where he always aspired to be a writer. In 2012, Luke finally decided to write with the purpose of becoming a published author. He spent four years working on a new book; the first of a planned dystopian trilogy about the importance of human connection, titled "The Appointment." In 2016, Luke took a break from The Appointment, and began working on Guest Bed instead, a much more personal story about the daily struggles of adulthood, particularly marriage and raising children, while also serving as an entertaining mystery, full of suspense, twists and romance. Guest Bed was published in October of 2016 and became what is now Luke’s debut novel. Hi ...more

Above all else, I am excited to have conversations with people about my book, the characters in it, and the choices they make. There's a lot of grey area to explore, and I want nothing more than to do so with my readers.(less)

It involves a paranoid country, a nationwide banning of entertainment, people losing their memories, as well as their ability to feel emotions, and the mystery of why it's happening. It will feature dream realms come to life, people living through others, and above all, the deep yearning for love that everyone feels at one point of another in their lives.(less)

Digging In by Loretta Nyhan
"I don't know how to rate my own book. Some days, I'm like...five stars, baby! You've got it going on! Other days? I could maybe--maybe--muster up one measly star. Writers are fickle. And very self-critical. Also, maybe a little nutso from working..." Read more of this review »
