Born in a suburb of Atlanta, GA, Whisky earned degrees in philosophy (2004) and actuarial science (2011) from Georgia State University. Through an exercise to help him process some of his most troubling experiences of Iraq and Afghanistan, Whisky discovered his had a knack for prose and characterizations that captivated others. His unique experience and worldview colors the world which Whisky writes.

His monthly short story series, The Erden Archives, introduces Erden, a world on the cusp of great discovery and greater turmoil.
