Hi, I’m Linda Rey, and I write books for teens and tweens. Writing a bio is about as awkward as having to write a “What I Did Last Summer” report the first day back in school, but here goes.

I live in Orange County, CA with my husband and a dog named Dude. My favorite color is green, but blue is a close second. I’d rather eat potato chips than ice cream, but give me a donut and I’ll be your friend for life. I’m a grandma to five grandchildren, but I’m a cool grandma who has a Harley Davidson motorcycle and a tattoo on my wrist that says Believe. My favorite books as a child were The Secret Garden, Charlotte’s Web, and anything by Judy Blume. My new favorites are all the books in The Hunger Games series, Wonder, and The Fault in Our Stars. If

It helps me stay motivated to write! The second book in the novel series, entitled "Nerdy Girls Don't", went to the paperback book formatter yesterday and should be available in the next three weeks. The ebook version is ready, but I thought I'd launch them both at the same time. The second book in the diary series should be out closer to summer and will be available both as ebook and paperback. Are the paperbacks or the ebooks your preferred reading choice? (Just curious.) And thanks again for reaching out! Linda(less)

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

Wishing you love and happiness this holiday season!

Thanksgiving is now behind us and “the holidays” careen toward us with meteoric speed. For me that holiday is Christmas— the chubby Santa, decorated tree, wrapped presents, overeating, overspending, and with a level of stress grossly inappropriate to the overall theme of the occasion— kind.

While the book says it is for 10 - 14 year olds - and I am just "a little bit" older then that (LOL!) I totally enjoyed reading it and was sorry when the story ended.
