My stories revolve around science fiction, primarily space based stories with as strong an element of hard science as I can place into the stories. This means they usually occur in the near future (next one to two hundred years). But I do delve into the fantastic sci fi for stories of intrigue and adventure other than hard science based ones.

Before taking up writing, I undertook chemical engineering

When that happens, I either go do something completely different for a while, put the project aside and open a different project or soldier on writing whatever comes into my head. With the last one, after a while the way ahead seems to show itself eventually.(less)

Part 6

Once she checked in with the Council, gaining no clear direction on how to proceed, Gabriel conducted a background check on Cain. It uncovered what she already expected — he was just an ordinary person in the wrong place at the wrong time. But even ordinary people can become power hungry once they mastered it. Although, the essence joined with him w

A thought provoking book. It felt slow after the start and I wondered where it was heading at times. But the ending was very interesting. The interactions and behaviour of the human characters were realistic.

Well worth reading.

The series wouldn't have been worthwhile without a final bot fight against overwhelming odds. yThe final climax is a little anticlimactic, but I won't spoil it by being more specific. Maybe more of a young adult series than one for more seasoned read ...more

This book in the series was better than the first 3 but was marred by the ending. Instead of executing the villain they decide to torture him (for fun? revenge? I have no idea) and yet again he gets away so another book can be written.
