Just S.T.A.R.T. Tidy Up Routine!
I have kids and therefore, my house gets messy. Truthfully, I am usually the person who makes most of the mess in our home, so I shouldn’t totally throw my kids under the bus. Toys, toothpaste globs and crumbs everywhere though… that’s all on them.
Cleaning and tidying my home is just like, part of being a grown up. While I do enjoy having a clean and tidy home, I’m not willing to sacrifice a huge chunk of my time and energy to make it happen. That is why I LOVE this easy and fast tidying up routine.
I used to spend hours tidying my home, but the truth is, I was wasting a lot of that time because I was constantly getting distracted. I have cleaning ADHD for sure. I’ll leave the room to put something away and completely forget what I was doing. Cleaning ADHD can easily turn a 15 minute job into hours of wasted time and effort. I’ve learned a few tricks that have helped me to stay focused and tidy my home super fast!

Dollar Tree Home Decor – DIY Gallery Wall
An easy and inexpensive way to add some beautiful Dollar Tree home decor is with a gallery wall. Pick up some dollar tree picture frames that all have the same colour frame and design a gallery wall on a shoestring budget. I love dollar store decorating!
Lay out your pattern on the floor before using green painters tape to outline and level where your picture frames will hang on the wall. Add some nails or 3M command stripes and VOLIA!

Decorating Tips – Week 12 – Hug Your Home Challenge

Decorating doesn’t have to be expensive, time consuming or overwhelming. You can update and refresh your space just by rearranging furniture, adding pops of color with inexpensive accessories and doing a few easy DIY projects. Why I cancelled my surgery (at the last minute)
I was supposed to have weight loss surgery this Tuesday, March 19th – but I had to cancel it at the last minute! Why? No, I didn’t chicken out! Friday afternoon I received word that my DREAM JOB may actually become a reality! This job starts in just 2 WEEKS, so I had to choose either the job (or the chance for the job) or surgery. I choose the job.
I am hoping that I can simply POSTPONE and reschedule the surgery, but I am not sure if they will allow me to because I cancelled soon before the actual date. Fingers crossed I made the right decision and everything works out!
In the meantime, I have decided to really make an effort to eat right and exercise daily while I await the news of my future. I will be sure to keep you posted on all my updates!
