Writing has been a hobby of Felicia’s since grade school, but other than serving as editor and writing for her high school newspaper, she never publicly shared anything until the early 2000s when she began writing fan fiction.

At the urging of a good friend, Felicia took on the challenge of NaNoWriMo in 2015, writing what would become her first published book, In the Best Interest of the Child. It was released in the fall of 2016. Free, a Novella, which began as a three-installment series on her website, was published as a short story in May 2017.

A long-time blogger, she also features books by indie authors daily on her blog, Nesie’s Place.

The recent widow calls Arizona home and has several works in progress.

Thank you!

Wow! Tough question! Olivia and I have been on this journey for more than two years now, and I'm still finding out new things about her.

No doubt, the tragedy of her childhood changed the path of her life, but I believe her destiny would have been the same regardless - a successful legal career. I feel this is owed in part not only to the years she had with her father but Olivia's determination to live up to his memory.

Despite the trauma and violence of Olivia's childhood and the emotional damage they caused, I admire Olivia's strength. She longed for a familial connection, but she never expected or wanted anyone to take care of her. She didn't give up or give in - neither was ever an option for her. Olivia's situation would have broken most people, but Olivia had lost so much, she wouldn't lose herself too. This is why her strength is my favorite quality.(less)
