JC Crumpton earned his undergraduate degree in English with a Creative Writing Emphasis from the University of Arkansas. He worked for the Morning News of Northwest Arkansas for seven years, and his short work has appeared in several journals, including the Penwood Review, Violet Windows, and Saddlebag Dispatches. His work is also available in anthologies from Pro Se Press and Bride of Chaos publishing. Silence in the Garden, his debut novel, will be out in May 2017 from Fleet Press an imprint of Oghma Creative Media. His novella Field of Strong Men can be downloaded from Amazon and was nominated for a Western Writers of America 2017 Spur Award. He currently lives in Northwest Arkansas with his wife and son.
