My answer to this is always, go back to your outline. I cannot stress this enough.
For almost a year I thought I could be one of those people who wrote by the seat of their pants and would let the story come to me organically.
How wrong I was! For the most part, my writing would start out fine, with a clear direction. However, it wasn't long before it ended up looking a jumbled, confusing mess. Then a severe case of writers block would inevitably ensue when I hit that wall.
So I learned, that detailed outlining is my friend and for me, writer's block became a thing of the past.(less)

Being able to do what I love for a living. I have to say I am very fortunate that I am in a position to work from home.
For a lot of newbie or debut authors, this isn't always the case. Most are working full-time jobs on top of family commitments and can only write in their spare time.(less)
