This is my first book and I am so excited to share it with you! I am a busy wife and mother of 4 and have worked in the field of child welfare for the state of Missouri for over 10 years. I was driving one day and saw a cat and a raccoon and began thinking about animal names and thought the word Catcoon was really funny so I began to play with more animal combinations and I found myself so entertained by this that I couldn't resist creating a book. I was imagining what they would look like with all the funny characteristics and what it might be like to encounter them and that sparked the fun story behind it.(less)

I find that my work is poor when I try to force it. I have a few children's book manuscripts going at any given time so I find that when I'm struggling it's probably best to pause that one and pick up another.(less)
