60 seconds
So how much can one do in 60 seconds? Maybe write a sentence. Or two sentences. Or more if they're short.
Video is another matter. Each part of my 60-second promo for Thora's Dagger had to be gone over again and again. Of course, my video is not unique in that approach. Any video has to be gone over and checked and rechecked. And in the end, if it's fun to view, then it has been all worthwhile.

Hello Thora!
After 8 years, Thora shows up and intent on revenge and justice, in Thora's Dagger, a sequel to The Gilded Basilisk, and which takes place a few months after the first novel's conclusion. Have I mentioned that she has an interesting dagger?

Einar comes along
My second published novel of 2014 is now available at Amazon and other places: Einar and the Cursed City, published by ReAnimus Press. Originally, Einar was to be produced by a different publisher, but that did not work out so well, and we went our mutual ways. I'm lucky that ReAnimus was interested in me enough to take on the publication, a rare enough situation (as any writer can say, even in the small press world).
Einar and the Cursed City is a young adult fantasy novel and suitable for readers of all ages, young and old.
The story: Sixteen-year-old Einar goes to Jorghaven for dueling and desserts, but a curse has changed everyone except the champion Barbara Bloodbath, who needs his help to free the city. The dueling is a challenge system whereby the better duelists increase their rating and rise higher in life; the desserts include ice cream and donuts, among other treats. Hey, if you can magic, you can have ice cream. Against the backdrop of dueling and desserts, the curse becomes an overwhelming factor.

Getting a Grip
I'm trying to come to terms with my new novel, Einar and the Cursed City, on the verge of being officially published by ReAnimus Press. Seems like there's a lot of work ahead of me, trying to raise awareness and so forth.
So while not start a blog here? And why not start with a simple post. It seems when one begins at zero, the only way to go is up.
