Born in England and brought up in Rhodesia (Zimbabwe), CA SOLE has spent 43 years living and working in 30 African countries.
A highly experienced helicopter pilot, he has flown for the British Army, the oil industry and air ambulance services. A subsequent career as an aviation consultant has taken Colin to 66 countries in almost every region of the world.
He began writing thirty years ago, but only took it seriously in 1997. Based on his experience, his thrillers invariably have an element of international travel. A Fitting Revenge (July 2016) was followed by CJ (December 2017), the sequels to which are CJ – Nature’s Justice and CJ – The Pilot, both of which will be published during the winter of 2018.

Oh dear. I love the Harry Hole books and truly appreciate Jo Nesbo's work, but Macbeth is not in the same league. The characters are thin and the pace is slow. I appreciate that already knowing the story and the outcome will detract from full enjoyme ...more
