Mark Manalang describes himself as a “journalist by day, novelist by night, food blogger on call, writer by calling.”
When not formulating fistfights, romantic scenes, and dramatic dialogues in his head to write, Mark maintains a food blog called “Unlimited Grub Grabs”, and writes on Wattpad under the pen name “Tenkouken”.
He enjoys listening to jazz music, watching anime and dramas, and looking for delicious food. His dream is to dine at the Shin Yokohama Raumen Museum in Japan, to write a romance novel series and a crime series, and to learn flamenco.
He is currently “on exile” with his laptop, which he fondly named “Haruka” (written with the kanji for “distance”), writing freelance while planning his next career move.

Of course I didn't believe it, especially that this guardian sounds like one of those Stands from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure.
Now that I think about it, a character who's attuned to the supernatural yet refuses to use his gifts and instead brushes off anything otherworldly with logic and science may be worthy to have his own story.(less)

Sometimes, I go out and do a bit of traveling, and I keep a notebook and pen near me in case something I need to take note of flashes in my mind. In worst case scenarios, I walk around the red light district (one of the settings of my ongoing series) and put myself in the shoes of my main character.(less)

The Secrets That We Keep by Georgette S. Gonzales
"I am a fan of crime thrillers — well, mystery and thrillers in general. When I first heard that The Secrets That We Keep is having a blog tour, I felt like I shouldn’t let the opportunity pass. I mean, an anthology by local PH authors, featuring s..." Read more of this review »
The Secrets That We Keep by Georgette S. Gonzales
"As a book overall, the reason I rated this three stars is because the stories were hit-and-miss for me. Generally, I only rate anthologies four or five stars if I loved most or all of the stories, and while The Secrets That We Keep had some real,..." Read more of this review »

Explaining WEB in one word and the only thing that comes to mind is brilliant! This story is very exciting. Unpredictable and keeps me on the edge my seat. If the author decides to make a case #2 for this story, I'd gladly raise my hand..." Read more of this review »
