Great question. The Outworlders is not a LitRPG series.

It is, however, a hyper-realistic portal fantasy. I get a lot of great comments and reviews from LitRPG readers.

The mundane aspects of the world that I created are solid and immutable--in no small part because I researched most of the worldbuilding firsthand, spending several years learning swordsmanship, horsemanship, blacksmithing, etc.--so while it doesn't have a "rules" system per se, it kind of really does. Nothing is hand-waved, and everything has consequences . . . which is pretty much what The New Magic is about.

I hope you enjoy it. Thanks for the question!(less)

Never has a book so heartbreaking made me laugh so hard along the way.
