I love the feeling of my fingers flying across the keyboard. I love reading what I've wrote, when I've come back to if after a long time. It's like reading a book that I like and then the realization hits me that I actually wrote that. And then I'm sitting there saying to myself, "Did I actually write that? That's really good!" But more often than less, I am face-palming myself for a stupid spelling mistake or typo. :D(less)

Listening to music as I write helps a lot. I have a writing music playlist on Spotify of my favorite instrumental writing music. You can find me on Spotify under hobbotsam and look for my playlist "Writing Music." It's an ever growing playlist. :) Also, just taking a break from writing for a week.... or a month at times helps. If I am still stuck, I think of plot twists I could add or put in something unexpected and that normally carries me off to some crazy adventure. Also, asking friends for prompts are helpful too. And read more books. It's amazing what kinds of crazy prompts you can get from reading a book.(less)

I normally don't like books like these, but this one is outstanding. I greatly enjoyed the read. Mr. Foster's writing is to the point, humorous, and interesting.
