New England Murderbake: Sharon L. Dean

I love (and write) books where setting comes alive before my eyes. Where  characters live in a special environment that has an important role and becomes  a story “character.” Hence I enjoy the spare and evocative mysteries of Sharon L. Dean. She’s a New England transplant to Oregon, an avid outdoorswomam, a former English professor and my writing-group colleague.

Quiet New England (?) is home to

Nancy Herkness added a status update: The final proofread manuscript just came back to me so ROYAL CALEVA: GABRIEL is going into production. Woohoo! I can't wait to hold it in my hands as an actual physical book. That thrill never fades. Even better, this means that release day (April 25th!) is getting closer and closer. Then the real fun begins as you close the circle and meet my characters. Here's hoping you love them as much as I do!

So encouraging to an author to connect with readers in this way! I would love to answer any specific questions you might have. I am writing a sequel now to "Saddle Tramps." It picks up,where the first book leaves off. It's a lot of fun.
