I became interested in reading as a young man, reading a book a day at one point. Once I realized that I loved reading, I knew that I needed to try my hand at writing. After years of practice, I felt confident enough in the stories I wrote to self-publish. I live in the golden state and draw much of my inspiration from nature and the world around me. I am also in a torrid love/hate relationship with the Oxford Comma.

I hope that you enjoy reading my stories as much as I enjoy writing them.

When not writing, I am a web developer and student of psychology.

Writing Wednesday (Not Quite): Chekhov's Gun and the Economy of Words

Remove everything that has no relevance to the story. If you say in the first chapter that there is a rifle hanging on the wall, in the second or third chapter it absolutely must go off. If its not going to be fired, it shouldnt be hanging there. Anton Chekhov
