My First Gay YA Book

When I was a kid, there wasn't a lot of literature that had LGBT characters as heroes or the love interests. I think the first one I ever read was Tales of the City by Armistaud Maupin. Shane answered Karinna Hernandez's question: I am to find Abnormally Attracted to Tad because when I tried to download the Point Pleasant Hoilday Volume 1 Books 5-8 on Amazon, it does not show these books but rather Books 1-4.
