Sit With It

One of my favorite moments when working on a project, workshop notes, or writing my books, is the anticipated first few stages of creation, or that snapshot moment, when you realize the impact of what you're creating.....even if at that moment its on a small scale between you & you're creative self.

For my first book, it was that moment when I was strongly called to stop what I was doing at work, (then my corporate life), grab pen & paper & take flight in great detail of what my outline would be. There was no hesitation--everything flowed so fast - I knew the details like I knew my name - that's when you know you're working with something real...something that can't be ignored.

I can still see myself sitting at that desk on a random afternoon, so excited, so proud of what was channeled & I knew, that was my leap forward into the writer's world that I was ready for. That book was officially born into the world in 2016....Messages From My Grandparents In Heaven; How You Can Keep Contact With Yours.

Another recalled moment of my first book, was when I woke up at around 3amish & felt called to change the order of one of my chapters. I found a quote not too long after confirming its importance, "You never have to change anything you got up in the middle of the night to write," ~ Saul Bellow

For my upcoming book, I literally had a snapshot moment in time that my husband Anthony captured, that he felt needed to be remembered. This picture is one of my favorite moments...to truly be able to see myself "sit with" my work as I was editing yesterday. To see it all laid out before you, to yield it where needed, is such a humbling & invigorating feeling. (you can see it posted in my updates section here on GoodReads)

I'm so excited for this next book & what it will offer to all, as this is a new genre for me...poetry, in the making since 2003. I'm overjoyed knowing that I have the opportunity to inspire, motivate & impact others with my poetry as others have done for me. I'm honored to give back that healing, clarity, release & fulfillment.

Can't wait to share it with you all! Check-in here for my latest developments with my book & when, where you can purchase it! Please feel free to ask me any questions too that you may have!

I'd love to connect!
