Dulcie Arnold lives in New York State’s beautiful Hudson Valley with her husband and three cats. She can’t resist a good story.

Professionally, the Theater has been the place where she has spent most of her life. Her first calling was as an actor. Theater allowed her to inhabit character’s lives and tell their stories on stage. Most recently, she taught Theater and helped students use the art of storytelling through acting, making scenery, puppetry, and putting on plays.

Now, Dulcie spends her days putting her love of storytelling to use by writing her own stories in the attentive company of her cats.

Recently, I attended an alumni event. It was an occasion to honor alumni who had accomplished something special. The central honoree of the evening was an Army officer. He had a lot to be proud of.
