Inflame review and release blitz, Laramie Briscoe

I liked this book. It was a quick, sweet read.Ash is a lovable, single father, who is doing his best t raise his daughter, Sydney, who’s a gem.Emma is charming, a little sassy, and knows what she wants.Together, they’re a great couple. I would have liked to have seen a little more of them as a couple in the latter stages of the book. I think it moved really fast from first date to the Bridge incident.  Still, it’s an enjoyable read, which I think contemporary romance fans will like, give it a go!

This was my first book by Amali Rose and it was a solid read. I liked the characters as well the supporting cast, even if they weren’t easy to follow if you’ve never read one of previous books.The one thing that did bother me was the lack of transparency about Wyatt’s feelings. We never really are given detail on why she does what she does. To me, it was lacking and caused a bit of a disconnect.The other issue was that the twist at the end was too predictable. Otherwise, I enjoyed this book. Wyatt and Flynn are a great couple, give it a go!

Bennett Mafia review, Tijan

I LOVED this book! It’s a different type of mafia book, softer, if that makes sense.Usually I find mafia books abrupt, harsh, but this wasn’t. I was expecting it to be a bit dark, as I feel Tijan’s books can be sometime, but I’m SO happy this wasn’t.Kai is a beautiful character. He wants so much more than what he is and his love for his family is incredible.Riley is awesome. She’s strong and doesn’t have the usual hauntedness Tijan’s female characters have. The story flowed beautifully and I loved how the characters developed.
Again, this was a great book, give it a go!

I can’t deny this woman a damn thing. So I climb onto the bed. The mattress dipping beneath my weight as I crawl to Gracie on my hands and knees. She is still facing away from me. The son and his Hope review and blog tour, Pepper Winters

I’m unsure what to feel about this book. Obviously it’s a love story for the ages,  but I struggled, a lot, with Jacob’s character. For the majority of the book I just didn’t like him. I thought he was a spoiled brat. Sure, he’s been through a lot, but Hope had been through just as much. And okay, the diagnosis at the end kind of makes it not acceptable to say that, but it’s how I feel.From about 85% in, it was a great love story, one worthy of his parents, but it took a while for me to get into it.
Still, I know people will love this book, just as they loved his parents. It’s not a favourite for me, but it is one heck of a story.
