Depends on what route you want to go down. Self-publishing and traditional publishing each have their own merits. I write quite a bit about my own self-publishing path on my blog aidanjreid.com - The shortened version is, I chose self-publishing because I wanted to control my own destiny, using my marketing and sales background to promote my books. I also wanted to enjoy the higher % royalties with self-publishing, creative freedom, speed to market and less bureaucracy by being my own Boss. May not be for everyone, but it ticked the boxes for me. Best of luck with your own journey!(less)

Hi Sarah,

Thanks for your kind words. I was inspired to write about lucid dreaming when I had my first (and only experience) when I was 22. I've been desperate to return ever since! It gave me a glimpse into a world of possibilities and I did quite a bit of research which I rolled into PATHFINDERS.

You can download the first chapter for free from my website if you like - https://aidanjreid.com/2016/02/26/pat...

Hope you are successful in the giveaway! :)

I’m writing this post from a hostel in Cartagena.

Temperatures hit 32°C (90°F) today which is just about the point where my pale skin begins to bubble. Fortunately, I’ve found shade (and cover from the dodgy street sellers) and figured it was about time I wrote a blog post with the latest news.

I write a newsletter which goes out once a month. In it, I regularly share giveaways, news about disc...

Little bit of a telegraphed ending. Not a bad read though. Classic pulp sci-fi.

Great book but at over 1100 pages, it really could have done with dropping a couple hundred pages of back story.

Herman Melville
“Better to sleep with a sober cannibal than a drunk Christian.”
Herman Melville, Moby-Dick, or, the Whale

“Here's to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They're not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can't do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
Rob Siltanen

David Icke
“We laugh at sheep because sheep just follow the one in front. We humans have out-sheeped the sheep, because at least the sheep need a sheep dog to keep them in line. Humans keep each other in line. And they do it by ridiculing or condemning anyone who commits the crime, and that’s what it’s become, of being different.”
David Icke
