Jennifer Kelland Perry is a blogger, devoted reader, animal lover and confirmed introvert.
Born in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada, she left the city behind in 2010 for the rural writing life and is savoring every moment. Calmer Girls is her debut novel, the first in a two-book series. The sequel, Calmer Secrets, was released in March 2017.
Jennifer lives by the sea in Newtown, Newfoundland and Labrador with her husband and two beloved cats. She is currently working on her third novel.

The story of Calmer Girls was born when I had a strong desire to write about two characters on opposite ends of the introversion/extroversion scale. Sisters Samantha and Veronica are only a year apart but you couldn't find more opposite personalities in spite of their similarly shared surroundings and life experiences. The contrast between them was fun to explore throughout the plot.(less)
