been a bit quite of lately

These last 2 moths orso I have been resubmitting my book to a number of publishers, with an astounding lack of success.
Having said that I nearly always recieve a reply, a reputable editor once told me that just getting a reply is a notable achievement in itself.
I´m not sure if I should feel disheartened or glad?

In a weeks time my holidays start, no more work for 4 weeks and I can get round to working on my second book. So I´m hoping for bad weather that`ll keep me indoors :-)

At long last I am getting my own website, still early days mind but all being well it should be up and running around August.
My first book promo video released today on Facebook and Twitter.

slow going

My debut book has now been out almost 3 months.
I never envisaged it as the sort of book that would knock Harry Potter off the best sellers list and make me filthy rich to boot.

Well I have not been disappointed and my initial forecast still seems to be holding...maybe I should have become a weatherman?

Gesting aside, I have been dumbfounded by all the great reviews the book has had, and is still recieving.

Thank you to everybody who has been so kind and posted reviews, I am truly grateful to all of you.

Writing a book is a slow process, getting it out there slower still.
It is slow going ......But we are getting there :-)

Havejust dusted off my poets hat

Been so long since I wrote poetry, I´d nearly forgotten how much I enjoy composing a poem :-)
