A New Orleans native who lived nomadically for five and a half years through thirty-two countries. She studied Yoga in India and is a longtime practitioner. A freelance writer, she was a journalist with the Times-Picayune and previously a radio announcer for WWNO, an NPR affiliate. She has taught English abroad and English as a second language to adults in the USA.

In another lifetime, she lived on a farm raising vegetables, chickens, goats and three awesome sons.

She believes that life is a dance.

I do some deep breathing and releasing the tensions that are making me feel that I "have to" produce something. Instead, I focus on something in nature - almost anything - and let everything else go. When I'm settled into "me," inspiration usually comes to let me know what I might write, or not. The key is to relax and release. Stop "thinking."
