I have spent all my life with young people. I started out their age and now I'm over four times as old as they are. I retired from teaching in June of 2016 after a half-century of being in the classroom. I feel that one should change careers every fifty years. Now I am an award winning author. My "Daniel Series" currently has six volumes, written with the reader in mind.

If the writing has been flowing well, it will continue when I begin again. If the writing has not been going well, after thirty minutes it is time to stop. Usually, the writing flows better in my next session. Even sitting at my computer and writing nothing is an advantage. I can focus on where I'm going and allow the story and characters to percolate in my mind where the subconscious will take over. The characters themselves often drive my story and lead me where I need to go.(less)

MY WRITING LIFE

Daniel: The Age of Anxiety was released in 2016. Since then I have released two more books in the series—Daniel: The Age of Anxiety (in 2017) and Daniel: The Age of Epimetheus (in 2018 about a month ago). The fourth book, Daniel: The Age of Dissolution is currently at the publishers in the production queue. I was surprised and pleased, when Reader Views announced two awards for my second book in t Read more of this blog post »
