MELKA STANSAH has been in love with writing since she was eight years old. She used to write only in her native language, Indonesian. She moved to Melbourne when she was sixteen in 1999 and has always been a Melbournian ever since.

Only in early 2012 she finally took the courage to write in English and penned her first trilogy series. The first book the series, ‘The Raven Trilogy: The First Journey’ was published in January 2016. Melka also enjoys writing short stories, poems, plays and travel blogs.

When she is not writing, you can find her on the plane to her next travelling destination, or on a culinary trip to satisfy her inner-foodie, catching up with the latest arts, music and film projects, or simply at home sipping tea on her couch

Indonesia has a lot of beautiful places to visit. In terms of living for a long term, at the moment I'm pretty settled here. But who knows, anything is possible :)(less)

"Absolutely first class book; so readable, exciting, relevant. If you think this book is just about snakes, you've another thing coming. I couldn't put it down - even reading on screen - and that was only a draft copy! It should be required reading..." Read more of this review »
