Margaret loves murder mysteries—the sooner the corpse appears, the better! If not reading crime fiction, she’s writing it. Margaret’s debut novel, Murder Casts a Spell, features lawyer Petra Rakowitz, who turns into a witch during her first murder case. In the second in the series, Murder Lifts the Spirits, Petra must defend herself from a murder charge. When characters can kill with magic, the ways to dispatch a victim dramatically increase. Margaret used to practice law, so she knows a lawyer can transform into a witch.
