Rainy days reads

Eternal optimist, in a state of dense weather denial, I dashed out to get in a quick round of golf this morning. Why are the weather people only right when they can deliver rain on weekends?! Now cozy by the fire about to finish Mary Beard's Confronting the Classics. I wish one and all a very Happy Mother's Day.
