Nature on the walls- murals
I was commissioned to design and paint 2 wall murals for a local business. The first design spanned a 14 foot wall, and features a treasure chest hidden in the grass. I mixed some glitter in the gold paint I used for the coins. When the sunlight hits it- it really does glitter like gold. I also placed some tiny ladybugs and inchworms in the artworks too, it's fun to find them among the leaves.
The second wall directly across from the tree mural, featured a fence post with old barbed wire, it is about 11 feet in length. I used the same gold glitter to place some highlights into the yellow flowers. Magical!
I hope you like them too! Visit me at quinnwildlifeart.com

Mystery Visitor
Who visited us last night? I believe this track was left by a bobcat or a young cougar. The photo was taken on the patio near my back door.
I enjoy seeing the tracks left in the snow during the winter. From the smallest mouse, to the moose, or the grizzly bear, I often see the impressions of the wildlife on the move.

The Winning Cookie Recipe!
The Judges have made their choices in the Baking With Love cookie recipe contest, I announce the winners and prepare the grand prize winning recipe in this video. Enjoy!
I'm a wildlife artist and author. I live on the side of a mountain in Montana near the Continental Divide with my family, where I write and paint about our frontier lifestyle. We left Washington D.C. when my husband retired from the military. We wanted a change, of lifestyle and we got it! I admit I'm a fish out of water here, and I'm learning how to blend my city ways with our new rural western life, so, I'm surviving the wilderness in style. Our new neighbors are cougars, bears, and wolves. I hope you enjoy our real pioneer experiences, with wildlife encounters, horse and dog rescue, baking, gardening, art, decorating, landscape photography, and much more. I hope to see you on the mountain, laugh and learn with me. quinnwildlifeart.com
