Christopher's roots are in Canada, and his two children make the fifth generation to live in Niagara-on-the-Lake Ontario described as The Prettiest town in Canada. His second home in Southwest Florida is in an area of the everglades and the ocean. Both provide ammunition for his imagination and his love of storytelling. The diversity of the everglades became the backdrop for his first published and best-selling novel Devil in the Grass and his soon-to-be-released sequel The Palm Reader.

I play guitar and every now and again, I get the urge to write a song. I think they go hand in hand. I bought the James Patterson Master series a while back and I like to listen to that. He is inspiring. I force myself to read- The Fire in Fiction by Donald Maass. I use that book as my writing bible.

Phase two - I like to get cozy beside my fireplace at home in Ontario, or on my porch in Florida where I can see the Gulf of Mexico. Early in the morning or late at night. (less)

I majored in History. I did take a few English courses though. There is probably almost as much writing in history as in English, especially in the third and fourth year. I pulled a lot of all nighters if I remember correctly. You are dissecting a topic whether it be a classic book or the battle of Waterloo.(less)

Christopher Bowron Okay-- this is an experiment. I dare someone to start a conversation with me. Ask me questions about my books, Florida, fishing... golf.

Recommend a good book.

:)

Christopher Bowron Hello Friends - I haven't been been super active in my reading lately. I am almost finished Greg Iles - Devils Punchbowl. Some one told me that I write like him. I can see many similarities, however, I think that I am a little more driving and to the point. I have loved the book though.

I'm looking for a good recommendation, something spy driven.
