I live in Orlando, Florida with my husband and our adorable furry buddy, Weston. In addition to writing contemporary fiction, I've written non-fiction, blogged for a community college in St. Petersburg, Florida and for the online magazine Lose the Cape. The Luggage Drop is my debut novel. 

Besides writing, I love to volunteer. I was a volunteer for the ABC Extreme Makeover: Home Edition TV show, and I volunteered with the Karla Smith Foundation and the Balanced Mind Parent Network.

I'm also passionate about mental health advocacy, especially regarding suicide prevention and the elimination of stigma. Both suicide prevention and the elimination of stigma are dear to my heart and lifelong endeavors.
