Wendy Call has served as Writer in Residence at twenty institutions, including five national parks, three universities, a historical archive and a public hospital. She has worked as a freelance writer & editor since 2000. Before that, she devoted a decade to full-time work for social change organizations. She teaches in Goddard College's BFA in Writing program, where she founded the literary journal DUENDE. She lives and works in Seattle.
