That has been either fortunate, or unfortunately, depending on which part of my story is being discussed. I do intend to make my occupation as a journalist part of the inspiration for the mystery book I currently have in development, as will be certain other aspects from the more tumultuous parts of my life.(less)

The screenplay was written by Josann McGibbon and Sara Parriott. The screenplay was adapted to film as a 1999 American romantic comedy directed by Garry Marshall, and stars Julia Roberts and Richard Gere. The reason they are my favorite fictional couple of all times is that their story is relatable to me on a personal level. My husband and I came from entirely different worlds and may have never met if it weren't for a mutual friend, and before I met the love for the rest of my life in my husband Kevin, I was really struggling with the loss of myself in all my previous relationships and trying to get back to me. I'm still in that process, but have come a long way, as Kevin and I get ready to mark our third anniversary on Valentine's Day. (less)

A recent article penned by Mallika Rao couldn’t have passed over my reading stack in any more of a timely fashion than her personal story she shared in the May 2019 issue of Real Simple magazine. The title of Rao’s piece: “No Apologies: For how I live my life.”
