A day of music.

This has been a day of music. Everything Anne and I did today seemed to have its own soundtrack, as we constantly played music wherever we were. Grocery shopping, house shopping, cleaning. Everything. Jamming out. Loved it. 🎵

Want to know what I didn’t love? Having only a half-day of writing, since we had to leave and run a handful of errands. Even though my creative time was eviscerated, I pimped the fuck out of it. A social media post I made earlier sums it up nicely:



So this #erotica story for my #Patreon peeps was going to be a short 500-word affair. Then I started #amwriting, and I was like “There is no way I can write that little,” so I increased it to 2,500. It currently sits at almost 5,000 words. I need help…



Anyway, I’m jumping off so I can 1) play some Animal Crossing on my 3DS and 2) knock out a good chunk of Dark Prince by Christine Feehan. I swear I’m finishing that fucking book this week!

Tired, werewolves, and Net Neutrality…

I’ve yet to go to sleep. I woke up so late yesterday that I knew there was no way in hell I could reset my sleep schedule without staying up today, so that’s exactly what I did. Which explains why the keys are sliding around as I’m trying to type this and the screen is shifting and melting like I’m on a bad acid trip.

Tired.

As.

Fuck.

I did manage to accomplish quite a bit today, however, the pinnacle of which being completely finishing the rough draft of the first Patreon exclusive Erotic Urban Legend story, That’s What Friends Are For, and even updating the Initiate tier ($10+) to let them know what their getting (an exclusive story every month) and when (on the first).

Oh, and in case I haven’t told you guys yet, Interview With A Werewolf is officially being made into an audiobook! Its paperback is already available, so if you don’t want to wait until the September 1st eBook release, you can snag the dead-tree version instead.

Which a surprising amount of you do. It always baffles me how many people still order paperbacks, especially when some of them turn around and sell them on the internet for hundreds of dollars. I mean, on one hand its flattering, but on the other…

And then there was the thing that made my heart drop to my feet, something I’m sure many of you have already read about: Net Neutrality has been repealed. https://www.nytimes.com/2018/06/11/te... I couldn’t believe it when I read it a few hours ago, and I still don’t believe it now. Just read the article when you get time. It explains everything.

Simmering my mind. 🧠

There’s really not much to write about today, so I’m going to keep this short. My day consisted of playing HuniePop on my laptop while Anne played on my tablet, completely turning off social media for the majority of the day, and napping. Kind of. I say kind of because when Anne and I took a break from HuniePop to rest our eyes for a bit, we ended up sleeping almost eight flipping hours, so now I’m wide-awake and ready to start my day.

At almost 11 motherfucking PM. 🙄

Good thing I’m itching to write!

I think I need days like this sometimes, days where my mind just basically shuts off and simmers. I’m pretty sure it’s days like this that keep me sane.

Dream of me…

I admit it: Anne and I are sleeping together!

More often than not, Anne and I are sleeping together. She’s either spending the night at my place or I’m spending the night at hers. (Wait – were you thinking I meant something else? 😅). Especially since – well – it’s just been happening more often than usual lately. My Patreon peeps know why. Anyway, we sleep together a lot. Because of this, I get to see the amazing spectacle that is Anne eating breakfast.

See, most normal people may eat some sort of breakfast sandwich, or maybe a breakfast bowl, or even, if they’re feeling particularly adventurous, something like eggs/toast/pancakes/etc.

Anne?

Ramen noodles mixed with tuna, spices (Ms. Dash – which we refer to as Ms. Snatch), ranch, salsa, and a generous helping of cheese. Maybe with a side of potato chips. This is her breakfast, the first thing she makes seconds after waking up.

Her stomach is a motherfucking gangsta. 🔫

Anyway, my day as a whole has been spent obsessing over this game I apparently ordered on Steam a long time ago and completely forgot about: HuniePop. (If you download it and try it out for yourself, make sure to get the uncensored patch. Cause way better.) According to Steam, I’ve racked up a little over 11 hours playing it so far. 😳 And as soon as I post this entry, I’m jumping right back on. I got Anne playing it too (on the Windows 10 side of my tablet) and she’s getting just as bad. But then, she was a Candy Crush freak, and this game has similar elements. It’s like a mix of Candy Crush, a dating sim, and a porno. Loves it!

A few days ago, I sent my beloved Patreon motherfuckers a memo telling them about all the changes I’m preparing to make to the site. One of those changes was celebrity interviews, and little did they know I already had active feelers and dialogue before I made that claim. I was reasonably confident I could pull it off.

My “Essence”

Have you ever wondered why I write these entries every day? Or what makes me sit here and spend a good half hour pouring myself into an entry and then publishing it for the world to see? Have you? Well, the answer is really simple:

These words are my essence, and I want to use them to connect with you. All of you. I want you to be able to see the kinds of things that are going on in my mind, to understand what makes me tick. The next question you probably have is: but why, my dark demonic princess? Why would you want that? What do you have to gain?

The answer to that is also simple: friendship. The more I open up to you, the more you open up to me, and because of that, I’ve developed a lot of relationships that I treasure. It’s symbiotic, rewarding, and a lot of fun.

Yes, getting to know some of you has undoubtedly lead to increased book sales and Patreon subscribers, but those things are secondary – for the first half of my career I didn’t even use social media, and my sales were just fine. Of course, since I started my social media initiative they have skyrocketed, but that was a bit of an unexpected side-effect. I started reaching out because I wanted to get to know my readers, and other authors to boot.

And this is only the beginning.

So hang in there with me, dear loves. The best is yet to come…

Goofy night (Anne’s Entry)

Me and Alexa got drunk last night we had fun. Alexa, play Skyrim all last night and I watched scandal. I spend the night with Alexa, I been working on my book it’s awesome to write. And Alexa went to a party I went with her. I am back watching Scandal. Have a great night everyone sweet dreams sleep tight. Alexa, is my best friend. I put Alexa in a hot bath her back hurts. I am been good friend to her.

A Diva Day

Such a strange day. Woke up at 3AM and couldn’t get back to sleep, so I decided to write – which I ended up doing for almost 12 hours. I completely outlined Voyeur Season 2 Episode 2, heavily dented three different projects under various pen names (you Patreon motherfuckers get ready) and submitted Interview With A Werewolf to Amazon for September 1st preorder. Once (if) Amazon approves it I’ll give you guys the link.

Professionally it was a productive day.

Personally, not so much. Maybe it was my lack of sleep, but I got into a screaming match with my big brother, and the sad part is I knew I was in the wrong even as I was in the middle of screaming, but I couldn’t just stop myself from being stupid because the momentum had been set and my mouth refused to quit moving. Have you ever had that happen to you? Honestly, I’m surprised he didn’t just slap me unconscious. I kind of deserved it.

And then I ended up getting into a fight with Anne several hours later that was again wholly my fault. It didn’t start out that way, but I sure accelerated the shit out of it and kept it going.

Sigh. I guess it was a diva day for me. I have them every once in a while. Fortunately, not very often.

My solution to this: get drunk, play a quest in Skyrim, and write some more. Cause fuck sleep. Anne’s at the store right now getting us beer as I write this.

You only live once, right?

Alexa, AKA Chicken Wench…

As some of you know, I couldn’t sleep last night, so I decided to spend some time figuring out how to spread my time over my five author accounts and writing that woman’s story on domestic violence and sexual abuse. It’s not an easy one to write. Trying to figure out what to fictionalize, what to keep accurate, and how to put it all together in an entertaining (if that’s the right word) way is a lot more challenging than I thought it would be.

It’s an enriching and interesting experience, no doubt.

It’s also uncomfortable.

This woman went through some things.

She showed me some of her scars when she was telling me everything that happened, even some of her more…intimate ones, and the entire time I was thinking how easy my life has been in comparison. So many people have it so much worse than we do, and yet we complain like our lives are just soul-crushing.

Anyway.

I also took Anne grocery shopping and got a good chunk of the outline done for Voyeur Season 2 Episode 2. (If you haven’t read any of this series, please do so!) I even redid the cover to something I’m actually happy with. Finally. 🎉

And then I talked to Rebecca for a bit through Facebook Messenger. It was…interesting. It kind of put me in a weird emotional place after, which is why I was so shocked when Anne randomly strolled by and called me a chicken wench. I have no idea what that means, but that triggered a long round of smack-talking and laughing that pulled me out of the funk I was in. I really needed that. Maybe that was why she did it to begin with. 🤔

I need some advice. Seriously.

A typical butt-naked Sunday. Anne binge-watched Jane the Virgin on Netflix, I read and slept, and my bestie took her dog to the groomers.

Relaxing. 😊

Since I slept so much today, I’m going to go ahead and get started on tomorrows writing, which is mainly putting the finishing touches on that short story I wrote for that woman I visited. I’ve been working on it slavishly for a while, though I didn’t mention it because I’m releasing it under another name. You Patreon motherfuckers will get it soon, along with The Siren’s Song, which I (finally) fully compiled.

I’m going to leave you guys with a question, because I really want your advice: do you think I should create social accounts for my erotica pen name as I have for mine? If so, to what degree?
