"This was very different from most books I usually pick up. That being said I didn’t know what to expect but I enjoyed the ride. Some parts were wordy and the ending seemed rushed, I wanted to know more about where her relationships ended up. Nonethel" Read more of this review »

“Each friend represents a world in us, a world possibly not born until they arrive, and it is only by this meeting that a new world is born.”
Anais Nin, The Diary of Anaïs Nin, Vol. 1: 1931-1934

Anaïs Nin
“I am an excitable person who only understands life lyrically, musically, in whom feelings are much stronger as reason. I am so thirsty for the marvelous that only the marvelous has power over me. Anything I can not transform into something marvelous, I let go. Reality doesn't impress me. I only believe in intoxication, in ecstasy, and when ordinary life shackles me, I escape, one way or another. No more walls.”

“I would venture to guess that Anon, who wrote so many poems without signing them, was often a woman.”
Virginia Woolf, A Room of One's Own
