About me:
A.J. Norfield lives with his loving family on land, but below sea level. He tries not to worry too much about climate change and the melting of the polar ice caps. His wife, and two rascals of children, keep him engaged and grounded in life, as he writes the nights away.

Whilst he is a long time story creator, 'The Stone War Chronicles' series is A.J.'s first official undertaking into the world of publishing. His books show influences from nature, conservation and the traveling he does around the world, as well as every day things like family, sports and a simple moment enjoying the sun.

As a reader, A.J. Norfield enjoys books from the likes of Anne McCaffrey, Terry Goodkind and Naomi Novik—to name

I am working on some changes that I want to do after finalizing the editing of part 1, but I have good hope Flood will be released before the end of this year (aiming for end of summer, but life might get in the way :)). So, we'll see! It's done when it's done, but I have no intention to make the gap between part 1 and part 2 as big as it was between Windcatcher and Wavebreaker.

Edit: So, reading this back 2 years later, I could not have been more wrong... >.< Where I had written most of the book and was ready for editing, several setbacks with editors caused delay on delay. Thankfully, it is finally ready! And hitting Amazon on the 12th of May 2020!(less)

Banging your head against the wall until it goes away?

Writers'block is difficult, although I mostly think it is not writer's block but too many distractions around you that prevent you from writing. Or the inability to put down in words what you have so awesome in your mind. Daily challenges for any writer I expect.(less)

Pre-order Wavebreaker (Part 2: Flood) Live!

[image error] I can’t express in words how happy I am the next book in the series will be available online soon! The road of editing on this one was quite unpleasant. Not because of the changes needed to be made (there were not that many, though I must admit editing is the least favorite part of the writing process for me), but because of the trouble with editors I had before finally connecting wi
