I have always been a writer of sorts. I began with poetry when I was young and then helped my husband with his songwriting, adding a few of my own to his song list.
I have started many a novel, but for one reason or another, never finished, till now.
My novels are available on Amazon as ebooks or paperback. The first is titled Mamie Garrison and it is a story of slavery, abolition, romance and history, set in the years just before the Civil War. The second is titled Colin Garrison and follows him on a journey to find his father John.

Now, in the second half of my life, I find I am able to devote myself to what I always wanted to do, writing.

Hope you enjoy.

I have found this second book harder to write. I'm writing from a male point of view to begin with. It has been interesting.

In addition, this particular story required more research.

I made a major historical error in book... Read more of this blog post »
