Lisa Orban was born in Galesburg, IL in 1969. She was moved by her parents (without even asking!) to Quincy as a small child. Bouncing from parent to parent, and house to house until at 16 she was given a broader tour of the state courtesy of foster care.

At 18, she voluntarily left for Phoenix with a high school friend where she lived for three years. After returning to Quincy, she went to college and earned an Associates of Arts in Psychology, with a minor in Art. Over the years she has held many jobs, but never quite found the right one. She has written poetry and short stories on a variety of subjects from raising children to finance for online publication. Finally in 2013, after much urging from her friends for years, she sat down one

If you are like me and hate to cook, but living requires that you do, this may be the cookbook you've been looking for all your life. There are over 100 recipes, and they are all quick, easy, and simple to make. There's also a sprinkling of cooking disaster stories sure to make anyone feel better about their own ki... Changing the world, one person at a time (Biographies & Memoirs)
1 chapters   —   updated Dec 20, 2015 11:26AM
Description: I was asked to write a short story for another blog about inspiring change or making a difference somehow in the world. I choose a story that expands on one of the themes in my book It'll Feel Better when it Quits Hurting, but was written so that it could be a stand alone story. I hope that you enjoy it, and if you do, maybe find my book and enjoy it as well. In small ways we can all make a difference and make the world a better place than we found it. This is my story of how I have made a difference, one person at a time.

This was a fun read with several twists that kept me reading long past my bedtime. If you are looking for something a little different from your standard time-travel plots, I would highly recommend The Strange.
