Former Director of a major corporation, Victoria has spent most of her life inside of a book. When she wasn’t reading, she was busy scribbling down stories of her own. Meeting her husband while he was in the United States Army, Victoria quickly adapted and learned the role of the military spouse.

After finishing her Business Management Degree in college, she spent years working in the corporate world where her writing quickly fell by the wayside. Finally, taking time away from the corporate world, Victoria has been able to dive into her stories and create a whole new world for you to live in. She now resides in the sunny Tampa, Florida area with her husband, son, and two amazing boxers. When she isn’t writing you can find her on the beach or

It might sound a bit cliche, but Darcy and Bennet were not one of the conventional couples that you'd find galavanting around that era. Darcy was a bit pretentious and Bennett was for lack of a better word, prejudice. Both of them were incredibly misunderstood characters in their own right. However, I find what I love most is their uncanny ability to break through the barrier. Defying all odds and tearing down the walls so that their relationship could thrive. I mean, let's face it, they had a plethora of issues, communication only being one. But, I find that's one of the many things that makes them likable they're relatable. Darcy and Bennet show us that love can conquer all things, we just have to give it the opportunity to flourish and grow. It is one of the many reasons why I love literature if we look deep enough there is a lesson to be learned from each story we read. (less)

Most authors have their own way of dealing with writer's block. Honestly it truly depends on what the block is. For example if I'm writing a particular scene and a phrase or a sentence is holding me up. Yes, that does happen. Then I will get up and walk away for a while maybe read a book, or go for a hike, and then come back to it.

If it happens to be something a little more difficult the approach may be different. For example my current novel I struggled with a chapter that just didn't sit right with me. I didn't like where it was heading and it took me about a week to realize that I was forcing the story down the wrong path. Instead of letting the characters dictate the direction of the story. In that situation I went for a run to clear my head and got back in the car and the drive is what did it. You would be amazed what driving does. I can work out an entire plot while driving to the grocery store.

I hope this helps. Really each author handles writers block differently. You just have to find what works for you and go with it. Me I tend to run or drive a lot ;)(less)
