My work is mostly probably based on the following.
'I grew up reading David Gemmell and Harry Potter, and was instantly hooked on fantasy. From this I found Robert Jordan’s “The Wheel of Time” series. This and all of Gemmell’s work have inspired and influenced much of what I hope to achieve in “The Daygo Stream” series. Gemmell showed me true heroic drama, while Robert Jordan created a world and a story on a scale I’ve never seen before or since.

Two other huge influencers come from the world of literary fiction. Wally Lamb’s “This Much I Know is True” and all of Phillip Roth’s work.
