The Norwegian death metalers play a heavy role (…moreI'm currently working on two manuscripts. One is a follow up to 'The Alienation of Courtney Hoffman.' The Norwegian death metalers play a heavy role (no pun intended), and all hell breaks loose.

The other project I'm working on is more biographical (no aliens) but themes of mental illness and attempts to retreat to the imaginary in order to avoid facing uncomfortable truths.

I don't mean to be overly vague, but a lot can change during the writing process. (less)

It's more of an ingrained compulsion and an exercise necessary for my well being. I certainly get inspiration for different characters or character dilemmas by people I meet and experiences I become aware of. But like our early ancestors drawing on cave walls, my need to express myself, and to attempt to make sense out of life through storytelling, is as ingrained in me plain and simple. That's why I call it compulsive. (less)
