David started his book after he read a newspaper headline about the last volcanic eruption in France in 4040BC. His first thought was, how do they know the year? Months past and other questions rumbled through his mind. Could someone have witnessed that eruption? A little internet investigating confirmed it. The next question, who, took five years of research. Irritated, then exasperated, his wife persuaded David to write a story about what he had discovered. Life 6050 years ago turned out to be quite interesting.

During the long writing process David retired. He moved with his wife and father from one side of Atlanta to the other, his mother-in-law moved in and their dog, Maggie, di

And there are so many wonderful places I haven't been or seen yet. I can't imagine wanting to pretend, when the real world is out there!(less)
David William Allman Actually, I have taken everything off my list until I have written a sequel. I have no time to read! It's terrible!

Acorns to Wheat: A Chasseen Family Saga (History)
1 chapters   —   updated Dec 01, 2016 04:23PM
Description: Acorns to Wheat is the story of fictional lives in the real world of 4000BC. These were the first farmers. David goes beyond the archaeology to tell the story of lives lived at the dawn of cultures. Flesh has been restored to bones. Before the Romans, the Greeks or the Gauls, there were the Chasseen. This is more than fierce gods, dry bones and broken pottery. Look BEYOND the research and feel the people come alive. Acorns to Wheat: A Chasseen Family Saga is the culmination of years of studying a little known culture in southern France - the Chasseen. Archaeological digs of their sites show how they lived, their tools and burial customs. David's book is a creation of life stories based on factual adventures.
