J.D. Harpley is also known as J.D. Astra.

J.D. Harpley is a dedicated word ingester and producer. A past laden with science fiction books led her to follow in the footsteps of those she found great to create vivid, brain-tantalizing works of her own.
Project Manager at a game studio by day, she spends her weekends rock climbing and her nights furiously typing or gaming.
Her fiction is inspired by authors such as Stephen King, Mary Shelley, Orson Scott Card, Harry Harrison, and Robert Heinlein. Expect elements of horror, lengthy and delectable action scenes, and a heroine sporting some kind of deadly weapon–in no need of a hero to save her.

I usually nab up Stephen King or Harry Harrison because they're super easy for me to digest, or grab an anthology I've got lying around and check out a quick short story. I know this sounds dangerous because you might "steal" someone else's work, but whatever gets you started is what you have to do. You can make alterations to the writing to distinguish it later =)
Step two would be to uncork that $9.99 bottle of red wine you got from down the street.
Step three is to drink the whole bottle and mash the keyboard like a furious monkey...
I'm joking of course, but a little imbibing never hurt the creativity ^_^(less)

The blurb promised a lot and delivered on it all

Hilarious, sexy, thoughtful, emotional, punny, and a little bit too real sometimes. This lovely read struck so many chords in me, I didn’t know I could connect with a romance novel this way. Typically I

J.D. Harpley Also thanks for pointing out that I seem amazing. Because... I am! ;)"

Say it loud, say it proud. We're all awesome ^_^. Yay for talking bookish stuff! I'm getting ready to read my first graphic novel (set in the Ender's Game universe). Should be awesome XD

Evelyn (devours and digests words) Hey Jess! Thanks for the friend vite. I like hardcopies too. You made a good point of saying that those never run out of battery xD

Also thanks for pointing out that I seem amazing. Because... I am!;)
(You may feel free to want to punch me in the face for being so cocky, although I assure you I'm actually realy humble). Plus, don't take me too seriously hahaha

Anyway, I cannot wait to discuss bookish stuffs with you!<3
