The only reason Zoë learned to type in high school was so she could improve her word count. A prolific writer, even in elementary school, she was forever jotting down poems and stories whenever she had the chance - usually during math class.

After years of working in corporate communications, she decided to refocus on the kind of writing she loves – hot romances with strong, independent heroines.

She and her husband of 20+years (yes they did get married in elementary school - thank you very much) live in Atlantic Canada with their K9 fur-family (Karma and Moxie). When not at her desk or with her aptop in the gazebo, you can find her at her favorite yoga studio, or working with her husband to renovate their money-pit of a house.

Then I find my mind start churning, and ideas and conversations happening in my head. Once my husband found me crying while I was vacuuming, and he was trying desperately to figure out what he did, and I was 'No, it's okay. My characters are having a big fight.' Thankfully, he understood and did not call the funny farm.(less)

When I am reading, I am immersed in their life, their loves, their struggles. And that an author has invited me along to witness this, is a gift.

I could probably pinpoint within a series, who my favorite couple was - whose journey I enjoyed the most. I hope/expect with my series, readers will have a favorite, but will enjoy the journey with each of them. (less)

diet pepsi… yoga… puppies

You might wonder what all three have in common – they are what keeps me sane, and what keeps me focussed on the job at hand… writing.

I know the one in the middle isn’t good for me, and I’ve cut way back. I have decreed that [image error]I may not have diet pepsi until dinner time. Which yes, is a huge accomplishment. I think I single-handedly kept pepsi in business for a while in the early 90’s. E

Zoe Mullins Winning Cait I was tired of reading about the great and kinky sex happening in big cities by beautiful billionaires. Kinky happens in small towns too! So I created St. Augustin and a couple of everyday Doms and the subs they love. In Winning Cait we meet Cait - a newly widowed yoga instructor who has moved back to her hometown. Of course, coming home means running into Jackson, a local architect who runs his family's construction company. He was her first Dom, and the man she left behind when she ran off and married his best friend. The chemistry is still there, but she will have to decide whether having Jackson back in her life is worth risking her new found independence. Jackson, Dom that he is, won't take no for an answer and is determined to win her back - as his sub and his wife.
