For me the best thing is seeing positive responses from people who read my books…moreI'm sure this answer will vary with each author who responds to this. For me the best thing is seeing positive responses from people who read my books and getting positive feedback. When someone points to specific quotes or characters or moments from my books and they tell me it left an impression on them, for me, that's as good as it gets.(less)
