AUTHOR BIO:
Like her heroine, Corrie Locke, Lida Sideris worked as an entertainment attorney for a film studio, except without the homicides. Lida was one of two national winners of the Helen McCloy Mystery Writers of America Scholarship Award for her first book in the Southern CA Mystery series. She resides in the northern tip of Southern California with her family, their rescue shepherds and a flock of uppity chickens.

AUTHOR AUTOBIOGRAPHY:
I was seeking an escape hatch from my day job; a way to lighten things up. The hatch eluded me, until I carved one out using words and altered scenes from my former life as an entertainment attorney. I used the movie industry and SoCal as the backdrop of my novels and inserted a strong, fearless heroine,

I'll sit behind my computer and think, "now's the time to declutter" or "what kind of sale is going on at Bloomingdales?" Undigestible and not fit for human taste buds. It’s only digestible if one is held at knifepoint next to a steep cliffside. I know this because I recently finished the first draft of Gambling w

"I absolutely LOVED this book. I'm excited that's it's only the first in the series and can't wait to read the others. If you like Sue Grafton's Kinsey Millhone and Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum, you'll love Lida Sideris's Corrie Locke. Terrific!!"
