November 21st... Flesh hits Amazon.com
Fast-paced... action-filled... gore, grime, and horror. Flesh was the most fun I have had writing a book. It came together in record time, especially the second half. Not only that, but it's definitely my best work to date. I should warn you, however, that while Skin was more of a brooding, isolation-type horror, Flesh is more what I would consider an action-adventure horror. It's faster paced and you will spend more time out of Coggins' and the other characters' heads than inside. Oh,

'Hey, you changed the cover!' and other tales
You may have noticed that I recently changed the cover to 'The Crackers' (now available for pre-order), which was met with some resistence as I had some good feedback from the lightbulb/brick wall cover. So why did I do it? One simple reason: continuity. I don't want to mislead anyone--I wanted to make it clear that 'The Crackers' is part of the 'Skin' universe. Although it is a stand-alone novella, it should be considered 'Skin 1.5'. Speaking of 'Skin', it's now available for order on

My first series!
A relic... an oldie but goodie. Maybe one day I will revive this ultra-fast paced thriller... [image error]

Kindle basically threatened to take my first born if I didn't have the final draft up by July 22 and, well, I'm kinda partial to her--so I got it in by the skin of my teeth. Skin of my teeth; I wonder what that means. Teeth have no skin. Are people referring to gums here? Weird. Anyways, just a quick reminder that the pre-sale price will hang around for about a week after its live, but then the price

It has arrived...
Welcome! The website is finally up and running. I plan on using this blog to share updates on my current work and offering free chapters and excerpts of upcoming books. I'm working on The Crackers now, and it is coming along smoothly. I expect when done, the novella will around 70-80 pages. So far, so good--writing this story has actually been pretty easy. Fun, too. All of the main characters are in their mid-teens, so it has been very enjoyable being drawn back into that time; wracking
