Hi I'm Thomas,

I am relatively new here. So feel free to drop by for a chat or whatever. I love reading, but now that I am writing I am no longer the lean mean reading machine of old. I miss it greatly.
But I am trying. Trying real hard.
Anyways I have a book out at the moment Americans Bombing Paris. Please check it out.
I also have a book trailer I made with a friend of mine. I am all about sharing the love.
Peace

The burnt orange sun of the vale is the kind of thing he was expected to write. Is a vale a small valley, or does this thing even matter anymore? Anymore is not what it used to be, being that we all expect everything night and day to be a blood orange sun hellscape. Again, expected prose, the didactic, more words that people write for little or no reason. But that was not his concern today. Words

“More butter please.”

“If you're going to try, go all the way. Otherwise, don't even start. This could mean losing girlfriends, wives, relatives and maybe even your mind. It could mean not eating for three or four days. It could mean freezing on a park bench. It could mean jail. It could mean derision. It could mean mockery--isolation. Isolation is the gift. All the others are a test of your endurance, of how much you really want to do it. And, you'll do it, despite rejection and the worst odds. And it will be better than anything else you can imagine. If you're going to try, go all the way. There is no other feeling like that. You will be alone with the gods, and the nights will flame with fire. You will ride life straight to perfect laughter. It's the only good fight there is.”
Charles Bukowski, Factotum

“I mingle with my peers or no one, and since I have no peers, I mingle with no one.”
John Kennedy Toole, A Confederacy of Dunces
